Check for hazardous chemicals at home and plan proper disposal. Experiment with non-toxic cleaning alternatives, especially for drain cleaners, toilet bowl cleaners, and oven cleaners. Reduce use of fertilizers and pesticides (less lawn?). Buy organic produce.
